QVC LAUNCHES QVCHD

West Chester, Pa. (April 30, 2008) – QVC, Inc. announced today the launch of QVCHD, a high-definition (HD) simulcast of the network’s domestic broadcast.

"As HD programming becomes increasingly more in demand, we’re thrilled to offer our customers an enhanced shopping experience through QVCHD," said QVC’s Senior Vice President of Affiliate Sales and Marketing Al Ulozas. "We’re presently in negotiations with our affiliates for carriage. QVCHD will be a wonderful addition to any of our affiliates’ HD line-ups."

With QVCHD, QVC’s products – and the stories behind them – will come alive with crisper, more colorful and detailed programming. QVCHD will be televised live, 24 hours a day, 364 days a year, featuring the best in beauty, home, fashion, jewelry and electronics.
